All transactions take place on our own dedicated fully secure server through our own Thwarte authenticated secure-card-payment.com We do not store customers credit card details electronically ( on a computer) and all card details are shredded after a short period. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will not send marketing e-mail to you and you will not receive e-mails from us other than in connection with your order. Any sensitive information you provide to us is collected on a fully secure server using the latest encryption technology The type of information we will collect about you includes: · your name · address · phone number · email address · credit/debit card details We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We do not debit cards until goods are ready for dispatch We try to dispatch orders within 1/2 working days of receipt but if for any reason we cannot dispatch goods within 7 working days we will inform you by e-mail We must be informed within 48 hours if goods were received damaged in transit, all parcels should be signed for 'unexamined' If you change your mind within 14 days of receipt we will gladly refund provided: (a) You have informed us prior to returning goods (b) The goods are received unused in original packaging and carriage paid If goods were received damaged we will refund carriage. Carriage where charged is not refundable It is the customers responsibility te ensure the goods reach us in saleable condition. Complaints It is in our interest to deal with customer complaints fairly and promptly. Any complaint you have can be mailed, faxed or telephoned to the contact address and numbers on our who we are page or e-mailed to the proprietor who handles all complaints personally. All complaints will be acknowledged within 3 working days of receipt and a decision made within a further 2 working days where the complaint is within our power. Where the complaint addresses something beyond our control (e.g with the carriage of goods) the customer will be kept informed of the complaint progress. |
| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |
